The Alfred Street shops have served this hilltop suburb for decades: grocer, post office, deli, pharmacy, the everyday strip locals actually use rather than drive past.

Northern Beaches Council is the local authority here as well, and the price doesn't move whether it's a simple clear or a full repair mid-renovation.

Original hot water systems are common in homes this age as well. We're not the trade for that job, but we'll say something if we spot one that's clearly on its last legs.
